TREE SURGERY ENCOMPASSES ALL ASPECTS OF TREE WORKS, ESPECIALLY AERIAL OPERATIONS USING ROPE AND HARNESS

What we do:

We have a team of fully qualified and experienced arborists that can quickly and safely deal with any tree works.

CROWN LIFTING

This is the act of removing the lower branches to lift the lower part of the crown. This may be carried out if the branches are causing an obstruction or to let more light in.

CROWN THINNING

Selectively removing branches throughout the crown whilst retaining the shape of the crown. This may be done to let more light pass through or to reduce the sail affect of the wind on the canopy.

CROWN REDUCTION

Reducing the entire crown by a certain percentage whilst retaining the natural shape. This can also include bringing rouge parts of the tree back in to line to create a better overall shape.

DISMANTLE

The total removal down to the ground level leaving stump. This is needed when the tree can not be felled due to the proximity to other objects. This involves climbing the tree using a rope and harness. If the crown is growing over objects (flower beds/shed/property) then the branches will be removed in small chunks and lowered to a clear area on the ground were they will then be processed.

FELLING

A directional felling cut is used at the base and the tree comes down and is processed once on the ground.

CHIPPING

Branch wood goes through a machine that fires it out as wood chip. The customer can keep the wood chip to be used as mulch or it can be fired in to the back of our tipper truck for removal.
